WORKING ENVIRONMENT AWARD 2018 & 2019

THE PR EFFORTS BEHIND THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT AWARD

Every year, the Danish Working Environment Council – an organ under the Danish Ministry of Employment – awards the Working Environment Award to the workplaces in Denmark that have the best working environment. In 2018 and 2019, we produced content for social media, produced 35 videos and generated over 300+ exposures through media channels such as Go’ Aften Danmark, Børsen and P4 Trekanten.

THE 2019 WORKING ENVIRONMENT AWARD

CASE

PR AND PROMOTIONAL EFFORTS

On 8 April 2019, four Danish workplaces received the Working Environment Award in each their category. In the runup to the award ceremony, we created and oversaw a digital campaign and two nationwide PR campaigns. The goal was to reach at least 100 mentions and motivate nominations for candidates.

SOLUTION

ONLINE ELEMENTS, REPORTAGE VIDEOS AND PR EFFORTS

To reach a wide audience, we developed and produced video, still images, banners and newsletters for social media and online advertisements.

At the same time, we recorded a large number of reportage videos from the 12 nominated workplaces, which were featured on the Working Environment Award’s website, social media and included in the overall PR efforts.

The first promotional efforts took place at the announcement of the nominated workplaces and resumed once the four winners were announced. We drafted 17 press releases as well as a reportage video from the award ceremony at DGI-Byen on 8 April.

Result

+160 media mentions

The PR efforts resulted in over 160 mentions in the media, including TV2 Nyhederne, Go’ Aften Danmark, TV2 Lorry, Fredericia Dagblad, TV2 Østjylland, TV Syd and others.

The 240-attendee project day was also fully booked weeks before the event took place.

THE 2018 WORKING ENVIRONMENT AWARD

CASE

PR AND PROMOTIONAL EFFORTS

In 2018, the Danish Working Environment Council wanted a similarly extensive promotional campaign, spanning across online media, print media and reportage videos that would be played at the award show.

The assignment also entailed a nationwide promotional campaign with a target of at least 100 media mentions in both rounds.

SOLUTION

NEW VISUAL IDENTITY, ONLINE AND PRINTED ELEMENTS, REPORTAGE VIDEOS AND PR INITIATIVES

As part of our efforts to create a new visual identity for the Danish Working Environment Council, we developed print ads and roll-ups for print, online banners, short videos and still images for newsletters, social media and online ads.

For each workplace, we produced a reportage video, which was featured on the award’s website, distributed to the nominated workplaces and played at the award ceremony at Axelborg in Copenhagen.

Once the nominees were announced, we provided 13 press releases and ran a nationwide PR effort, which we followed up on once the winners were announced.

Result

OVER 100 MEDIA MENTIONS

Our efforts resulted in over 100 media mentions across major news platforms such as Børsen, Go’ Aften Danmark, P4 Trekanten, Midtjylland and Østjylland, TV2 Øst, TV Øst and a wide range of regional, local and industry media.
